A check against insanity...I like it

How fast will they deport them? I honestly think Democrat politicians love illegals as they see them as future voters. I believe the biggest cases of voter fraud are illegals voting.

Even if none of them ever voted (ignoring that argument for purposes of this post) they show up in the Ten Year US Census data.

In turn that influences which party gets majority control of the House.

How Your State Gets Its Seats: Congressional Apportionment:
https://www.visitthecapitol.gov/site...ortionment.pdf

Quote:

After the census results are provided by the President to Congress, the Clerk of the House informs the governor of each state how many seats his or her state is entitled. What happens next in the process?
http://history.house.gov/Institution...eapportioning/

It also determines the number of Delegates each state has in the Electoral College:

Distribution of Electoral Votes:
https://www.archives.gov/electoral-college/allocation

Quote:

Electoral votes are allocated among the States based on the Census. Every State is allocated a number of votes equal to the number of Senators and Representatives in its U.S. Congressional delegation—two votes for its Senators in the U.S. Senate plus a number of votes equal to the number of its Congressional districts.

Get enough of them into your party's states, keep them happy so they don't move to opposing party states - and you basically control the country.

Exactly! And I guarantee you that the Biden Admin. knows where each and every illegal is. I have to think they're tracking them because they'll need all of them come election time.

So the SCOTUS says Texas can enforce the federal laws the Briben administration refuses to?

China and the cartels have to be giving something to the demon rats or the Briben family business ....

The 5th circuit of appeals immediately blocked the law, 2-1, after scotus ruled.

Next up, en banc. Texas will be upheld thankfully once that is done. The entirety of the collection of judges will get this correct

While their intent is obvious, they're selling it as a humanitarian act. Got to give it to the maggots -- they have all the angles covered. They'll lose at the end but there'll be a long and painful recovery from all the damage they'll had done.

Here’s what happened in plain English and it’s nothing like what you said.

Texas passed a law that usurped the powers of the federal government. The Feds. Took Texas to court and the Court said. Sorry Texas, immigration falls under the purview of the Federal Government, so butt out. You can appeal but in the meantime don’t even think about enforcing your law.

The court also said it’s going to take a while to decide the merits of this, so we are issuing an administrative stay prohibiting you from enforcing Sb 4. Texas appealed to the Supreme Court, which overturned the administrative stay. They did so based on the belief that an administrative stay must be limited in duration.

All this had nothing to do with whether the Texas law should be upheld or overturned. That is still making its way through the courts. Which will decide the law is blatantly unconstitutional.

If this goes en banc, the law will stand. The 5th circuit has 17 judges, only 5 were appointed by a dem potus. They're standing in the way of Texas protecting our border

Did not realize that it had been a week between posts. Had a touch of the flu, but all good now.
