Those 13 years went by
really fast.
That said, I happen to know at least a handful of industry leaders saw this poll and the many other threads here on this site.
A select few took action, and the results of this poll were not lost on them.
Fast forward to present day and the industry in the US (while not perfect) does a much better job when it comes to thoroughbred retirement than it did when this poll was first posted.
