Good night.
Finally got Nicholson Returns home. Been following him for a couple but the 1700M Happy Valley turf work was the signal.
Liked Smart Beauty in the 2nd but couldn't pull the trigger after Chung's ride on Darci Joy in the 1st; Chung just hasn't been riding well for a while.
Used Smart Fighter with Happy Daily in the 4th. Bowman (who had a tough night with a race spill and a horse refusing to load after dumping him in the parade) never tried to secure early position and it was all over before it started. And Teetan gave us his usual wide/no cover ride on Smart Fighter and got him beat at the wire by an impossible longshot.
Had the cold quinella Beato with Joyful Prosperity in the 5th. They were both coming out of the same race (a slow paced affair that didn't come back) and both had trouble.Beato won for fun - finally.
Was wrong on Ruby Sailing.
One numbered the 9th - a 3 horse photo -- I usually lose these.
Watching more and more races. Getting to know the horses better. Tough circuit to beat.
