5 seconds? LOLOL.
The Flat Out at Belmont yesterday differs from the official by two seconds. Trakus is correct IMO.

The pace of the Flat Out did seem kinda fast in realtime.
Saw a few misposted fractions at BEL over the weekend but assume they won't make it into the chart, as they were way off.

No doubt Trakus is right on the Flat Out, not the official timer. Belmont has really been struggling with timing this meet.
At least they aren't Will Rogers Downs, which has had timing problems on 25% of its races this year.

I finally gave up on WRD in 2014 after several years of trying to fill in their missing fractions. It was about the most aggravating thing I have had to deal with in 20 years of downloading charts.
As it turned out when BTP started missing an enormous amount of fractions and I got around to automating the process it was not much work at all to do so.
I guess the tracks don't realize they are chasing players away if they can't provide the basic stats we need.

I've come to believe they simply don't care. They just want to keep the slots spinning. What other explanation is there for tracks that refuse to address long term problems?

BEL today 7th race (5/12)
Really?
PS Trackus agrees, still, seemed really perverse, even by crawling NY standards.

No chart from Equibase yet, even though the 8th is available.

Charts in, no change.
So Rocketry came home in 22. Well , I guess its possible since he did nothing early. Like those 2yo's blazing 10 flat at the sales.

Given the fractions, it probably is correct. At least in this case we know somebody cared enough to make sure. This isn't done at lots of tracks.

fwiw I spot checked the run up and final 1/4, looks ok.
Guess someone should try to buy Rocketry , though the whole field came home fast.

How were they not recognized, if I may ask?
