Some of us old fogies have discovered that you can download the PPs, print them, and take the hard copy to the track.
I'm wondering how many of those at the track with laptops are not using them for PPs, but to follow the comments and discussions of their on-line "expert" handicappers as they go through the card.

I have to print them out to mark them up but a ton of people do use their laptops to read the PP's. They're gonna have to reverse this....or not. LOL

Do those IDIOTS realize you can bet online from a smart phone?
In fact, just for spite, I would send all my bets to some ADW if I was at the track.
But look at the bright side, if you have to stay home to use your laptop to handicap, Belmont is just a track on the list, so why bother confining your betting to 5 horde sdtakes races with prohibited favorites?
This from the people who moved the Met Mile away from Memorial Day.
Welcome to 1996.

A lot of racing material is dependent on internet, ie, RDSS, TFUS to be used efficiently, Race Lens, Formulator......much of the racing world is operating in the year 2022.

I can't read them on the laptop. On paper you have 2 or 3 sheets. On the screen, you can only see a few horses at a time, and spend a ton of time scrolling up and down. You can't put the PPs of one horse next to another to compare them.

But that Progressive Insurance ad - the guy working so new homeowners don't start acting like their parents - said "we don't print the internet".

So, just create a PDF and send it to your phone. The only thing they've accomplished is to make their customers go blind and arthritic trying to deal with the phone.

I wonder if they're banning tablets as well as laptops? Some of those 10 inch tablets would be a good sub for a laptop.
