A tradeoff is when 2 or more models or some people call them 'factors', 'angles', etc...
are working in an opposing fashion.
There are trade offs in everything or at least in every system.
When your interest in a race and wager(s) was elevated due to a valuable angle,
that was not fully reflected in the Odds...
You still have to do your due diligence and check for tradeoffs.
A tradeoff can be significant enough to ruin ('cancel') a wager, or it may put a 'ceiling' on the value, or even limit the value to an additive state rather than reachin 'critical mass' and exponential value (You get these when multiple models are moving in the same direction.),...
...And at times, the tradeoff may be no big deal / insignificant.
