i am not sure what makes a horseplayer different from the rest of humanity but its true.

Only in the sense that the same can be said for poker players, golfers, coders, lawyers, doctors, nurses, and quilters.
They (we) all have a Brand that comes with a lifestyle.

I think there are two types. The first type enjoys all kinds of gambling, poker, blackjack, craps etc. The second type, of which I am one, is strictly interested in thoroughbred racing, not the trotters or casino gambling.

with the possible exception of this website, i think there is a lot of insecurity and contrarianism in the environment. i wish i could say my life was exempt from such behavior but that would not be true.
