The answer is yes, it is worth it to support decency and honor over corruption and dishonor; to support tolerance over bigotry; to support the right to choose over misogyny; to support $15 minimum wage over sweatshops.

Besides, it’s really not that much of a sacrifice. I know, the price of a gallon of gasoline in my area has gone up $1.35 in the last year. That means it costs me an extra $15 each time I fill up-about every week to ten days. So, between $45 and $65 a month.

You are going to love this. Because my Social Security and my Post Office pension are indexed to inflation, I am taking home approximately $160 a month more than I did last year. So yeah, the sacrifice is not really all that great.

But even if it were, I would happily make the sacrifice to keep Trump out of power. Somethings are more important than personal comfort.

I have a friend who is 98 years old. He has a Doctorate in Engineering and worked for NASA forever. He mind is mostly sharp as a tack.

His was seeing his Dr. with one of his daughters and was asked if all his daughters were beautiful. He said none of them were but he liked them anyways. This is his type of humor.
