Andy Serling being honored at NY Race Track Chaplaincy Brunch
I know I and others sometimes get into it with him on this board, but he's being honored, richly deserves the honor (heck, he deserves it for nailing the 2022 Preakness alone), and the revenues go to an extremely compelling cause.
If you are up in Saratoga around the 17th, you might be interested in purchasing tickets and attending.

Thanks. I am honored, but more importantly, it's a terrific organization and worth a few bucks if you can give.
I wouldn't have a job if not for the people on the backstretch. We couldn't sit around and complain about the game that we love if not for their hard work.

I'd love to make it up on that day but Saratoga is out this year. The best I can do is make a donation.
I'll be there in spirit. Congrats and all the best to Andy.

About ten years ago Andy was very gracious and helpful on my first trip to Saratoga from Florida. My introduction to the Spa. He gave me pointers on where to go and what to see in town on my visit ….. also arranged for some will call tix. I went to his radio show at the Parting Glass. I was very grateful. Loved the museum, the backside at dawn, the bars, and the restaurants there. Have several pieces of purchased Toga racing art now hanging on the walls in my home. Since then ….I have visited for a week annually at the end of July for Jim Dandy weekend. I have attended horse auctions and actually bought in as an owner. I am both a thoughtful handicapper and a true fan. Andy was instrumental in helping me become more involved and enhancing my racing life experiences. A credit to his character and willingness to help a stranger. I appreciate his efforts and his integrity. A well deserved honor.
