the only history of 2 former presidents running against each other was in 1892. the sitting president was Benjamin Harrison, who got defeated by former president Grover Cleveland.

in that prior election, Harrison who was the Republican in the race was an anti gold guy, while Cleveland was pro-gold. Cleveland was in favor of lowering tariffs. there were lots of cross currents and comparisons to this years election.

I would not let any bottom level operator run a titanium job*, they can go south quickly, of course that depends how aggressively they are run speed and feed wise. Also Waltz seemed to imply nothing of high tech or skill was involved in the whole process, that would include the programmer who along with the set-up machinist work together to select the best tooling, the guy that sets-up and the operator. I suppose you could also throw in the machine technician that troubleshoots and repairs the machine when it breaks down.


*You can slow the machine where it can run a whole shift with little or no intention, no shop owner that pays employees to set-up and operate are going to allow that. I do, but I am a one man band, some jobs you can't do that with no matter how much you gear them down.
