Musketier
One of my favorite horses, ten years old, wins the Singspiel Grade 2 at Woodbine in a thriller match against Simmard.
What a champ he is! I think he's the oldest horse to win a stakes--but don't quote me on that.

Yep...Nola Ryan will be on the Mound for the RAnger's or Astro's or Yankee's next week...striking out 10...throwing a 1 hitter...
Can't hold it against Musky tho...he ran a nice race...doesn't say much for current crop tho either...

One of my favorite Iron horses Leaping Plum won the Gus Grasmick stakes at 12.
Musketier was all heart today and deserves a tough fought win.

Ah, ok I was wrong. I swear he's the only 10 year old to win something though...

It's huge for the Veteran either way Shelby , so i respect your enthusiasm.
I've actually been a fan of Simmard . The " Bid " is the broodmare sire of his Dam.

A graded stakes, maybe?
John Henry was the oldest to win a Gr1, as a 9YO. He didn't race at age 10.

A long, drawn out, game stretch battle. Loved it.

I will never forget a DRF article about that horse. Since he was relatively unknown the article was titled, "Leaping Plum-Hidden Dragon"
John's Call did some damage as a 9 or 10 yr old...didn't he win the Sword Dancer and then run pretty well in the BrCup Turf?
EDIT: John's Call also won the Turf Classic and ran 3rd in the Br Cup Turf that year as a 9yr old.
