There's a black pole at what I believe would be the 5/16th marker, but if the red pole is the 1/4 pole than those 2 poles are quite shorter than a 1/16th apart. Also in the stretch is the 1/8th pole the green one or red one, as there are 2 in close proximity?
Either way I don't believe the final 1/16 was run in 4.21 (as it says on the replay) or that the time from the 1/2 to 3/4 went in 21 flat (as it says in the chart). If anything I think the 6f fraction from the replay (1:10.71) is right & the final 1/16 from the chart is correct (5.76) & the final time is more like 1:16.5 or so as opposed to the 1:14.92 currently credited. Wondering what others might think on this?

I timed it, based on prior races the 3/4 was the incorrect time and the others were correct. I have to assume the prior races are correct, and with the rail at zero it seems reasonable as the visuals match what I'd expect.

The footnotes for chart of the Joe Hernandez stakes have been updated to state the six furlong time on the video is incorrect. The system provided the six furlong time of 1:09.16 which is currently in the chart.

So from what you looked at you'd say the 1/2 to the 3/4 being run in 20.97 was accurate, as the chart reflects now? I've never seen anything like that, hard to believe.

Yes, I think it is. It was a very fast course, good horses, and they crawled early. I was as surprised as anyone.

I have to agree with SG4 here.
The 5/16s post and beam is in the wrong spot. It lines up perfectly with where the horses should be based on the last fractions, but leave only 70yds or so between it and the quarter pole.

The beams aren't in use any longer, track has been re-measured and internal timing is done by GMAX (GPS).

The needs to be an issue with either their reported sections for the mile races on the day or where their virtual beam is then.
R8 tracks back to the 1/4 pole for the last quarter, R1 tracks back to the 5/16s pole for their reported last 5/16s, but R1 reaches the quarter pole less than 4 seconds later.

Sunland Park race #2 5-1/2 furlongs.
23.01
46.84
59.47
1:08.66
Final time must be off by wide margin.

Definitely timing started early, I've let the right people know and will get it timed correctly.

Looks like the timer didn't stop when the winner hit the wire. The posted fractions are fine, the final time from video ~1:06.10.

I passed them on to Equibase, but I think their hands are still timed by that New York steward that thinks he knows how to time races.
