It was NOT an effort to overthrow the government and keep Trump in power. It was not an insurrection. That's a GIGANTIC LIE.

It was a protest and effort to delay certification of the election until evidence of election fraud could be presented and examined.

A lot of people (including Trump) thought there were irregularities in mail in votes, voting machines, vote count stoppages etc... that needed to be examined before the election should be certified. They knew that once the election was certified, no matter how much evidence of election corruption and fraud they presented it would be too late. It was OVER. That's what 'STOP THE STEAL' meant.

What happened later was the passions between the crowd and police got hot with some people on both sides doing things that provoked a response from the other. It eventually turned into a riot, but it was not an insurrection. Calling it an insurrection was a way for the liars on the left and bought and paid for vermin in the media to discredit Trump further and open to the door to legal action that would prevent him from ever running again.

A poll worker was transporting ballots from the board of elections (a normal procedure before an election, according to the BoE) and was getting something to eat at the bar restaurant across the street from the BoE while he was waiting for his ride.

When the ride arrived, he loaded the ballots into garbage bags so they wouldn't get wet, and left.

The next morning the BoE inspected all the ballots (standard procedure of course) and found no issues. All were accounted for, still sealed and unopened.

In other words, a non event.

Still, the poll worker was fired for exercising poor judgement in leaving the ballots "unattended" in a public setting for a short time.

But the point is there was never an issue with the ballots, and if there had been, that would have been detected too.
