Resilience ran a nice race but
As the connections stated the distance right now is not for him or.. I think Mott who is obviously a great experience hall of fame trainer.. will look to either the Preakness but it looks like McPeek wants no part of it and there is a possibility of only 1 or 2 horses coming back to run. If that, he will be good going shorter, maybe between mile and the 1/8. Look forward to seeing him at Saratoga or the Peter Pan at the Big A.
I still think Chad made a mistake regardless of rider choice. And I have no idea except that Irad is obviously more exclusive to KS than Madaket. Only the agents and the connections have that answer. They all basically use each other for the most part in NYRA circles at times in terms of availability. The point about Domestic Product is bang on. I have told this before but back when I believe it was Always Dreaming.. correct me if I am wrong but that year I really liked Gun Runner and I think he ran in the money 2nd or 3rd.. maybe it was Nyquist... but he was not quite ready at 3. There is always a group that matures to 4 to be at the top of the older horses group.. Vino Rossi.etc. Obviously you look at Gun Runner at 4 and he was unstoppable. There is a thing to say about how they grow and mature faster or slower than others.
