Blind Luck is much better than HDG

The reason is not the 4-2 edge she has. The reason is that HDG had THE perfect trip yesterday while BL had to move early and still got there. They started BL slowly this year but she is on the upswing and HDG has leveled off now. Life at Ten offered absoloutly no resistance which I was counting on at least something yet BL still got there all on her own. Had she been in the Classic last year, she could have won it. It was unfortunate that LAT didnt run in that Ladies race as the older horse Unrivalled Belle cruised. Still BL beat HDG yet again. HDG should have opened up with her trip yesterday but we saw the meaning of class with BL. She is superior and has earned a shot to go in this years Classic. There are no Easy Goers so why not?

For me, yesterday was more a case of Blind Luck relishing the 10F whereas HDG doesn't really want to go that far.

I agree that BL is the superior of the two, though. A horse that can win multiple grade 1's over both dirt and synthetic is usually going to my vote, anyway .

I don't think either is superior to either. I think last year, BL was better than HDG, but right now i would take HDG any day of the week at 9F and BL any day of the week at 10F. it's just that simple to me. they are both very good and pretty evenly matched.

I think you will see BL go to the clement Hirsch and see HDG go to the personal ensign, then see BL go to the Lady's secret and HDG go to the beldame, then they might both go to the ladies classic but i really would think about running BL in the classic, because I really do not think she can beat HDG right now at 9F if she's on her A game; she will get the jump on BL and it's not enough room to catch her and 9F is well within her wheel house. I don't think very many of the males could beat BL at 10F,

All due respect to those fans of HDG but she is over the top now IMO. BL can and will beat her at 9F too. Yesterday she showed she can move early if need be. A sure sign of extreme class. LAT offered absoloutly no resistance. If HDG has anyone in front of her willing to put up even a 50 yard fight, BL will cruise by. The whip never touched her and she is in such fine fettle right now, one has to go back to Rachel 09 and Zen 08 to see another filly in this kind of form. Simply outstanding is BL and getting better too.
