Fibinacci
I saw a Fibinacci post here a couple of days of go and could not find it. I was just asking in terms the number theory and is it 10-6-4-2-1 sequence? I was wondering how you apply it to your overall total if your calculating your combined factors when coming up with a final number for your final overall rank in a race. I usually was taking my handicapping factors. Spd. Spd Regression in terms of +- Class, Pace, I combine a Jck win% and Trn % based on sprint vs rte from Bris if using bris.. and I take Querim point based on running style and will divide it with post win% based on Equibase stats.. if the there is not enough data on the meet.. I will refer to previous meet..(*Note this has proven to be the weakest factor in terms of winning rank and I am considering dropping it)
So once I have all final numbers.. I will add Pace, Speed, Class and I will subtract the -improvement regression and I call it a chance to improve the chance in the race or the horse will decline in todays race condition. Then will divide the number by all factors. I have had success but I guess my question for the experts on here is instead of doing this, is there another way? or is the Fibinacci method point structure pointed to each final factor in prediction of the what the final odds line may end up? If confused.. so am I .. if a simpler explanation of what I am saying is needed please feel free or just the method used towards my spreadsheet handicapping would be greatly helpful.
