If you can go another $100 you can get 2 beds. But they are small.

If you don’t mind living rural in a Mobile home you can get more sq feet for the same money.

That’s the dirty little secret in Texas.

Very few zoning laws and trailer/mobile homes everywhere

They really don't have rental apartments in my general area, if you go in town they are all 2-3 story townhouses with garages that rent from $1200-$2000.

And you get to sleep standing up. Gives whole new meaning to "standing room only". But the big upside to this is that people who live in such cubicles really do grow to appreciate getting a load off their feet whenever they can.
