This thread is becoming like Formula_2002's thread in the "selections" forum. Almost a monologue.

I'm fine with that
It doesn't matter what I post these days...even when I post $$$...literal $$$, as I've been doing for over three months now, it doesn't get much action...LOL

What's to discuss? These memes are a summary of the latest craziness in our world, with some humor thrown in. They get a lot more views per post than F2002.
I hope this infotainment continues, I enjoy it.

The problem with lack of interest in your money posts might be that there are less than 10 people on this forum with the financial resources to become day traders.

true that...
I don't really expect or want anyone to follow me...it's a test...no idea if it's going to remain profitable...but no better place to test in public then here I guess.

Actually, where I trade, you only need $500 per contact in order to day trade futures...so...you actually don't need a lot of money...LOL

I was doing some successful day trading years ago and both Ameritrade and another company (I can't recall the name) stopped me from trading. They told me that I needed to deposit $20,000 in my account to continue trading. I was doing it for fun, so when they took the fun out of it, I quit.
Also, $500.00 is a fortune for most people.

Come on...this is a site for horseplayers. What self-respecting horseplayer would consider $500 to be a "fortune"?

I remember when that $20,000 minimum went into effect for day trading stocks...I also remember it being a bummer...lol
It's called the "Pattern Day Trading" rule...you can't make more than 3 (or is it 4?) day trades in a week if I recall. If you do, they require you to put $25,000 into the account in order to day trade.
Just looked it up...it's 4 day trades in a 5 day period...and it's $25k minimum to continue, not $20k
