Race 14 at FG now OFF TURF
Nice of them to make this announcement right before R12 was run (on the turf no less) and after the late Pick 5 sequence already began.
So far no reason has been given for the move.
Come on man

This switch cost me a lot of money today. The tracks could care less about their customers. This is why horse racing is in the toilet.
Just another screw the customers day at the races.

Some say I secretly harbor a "3-card Monty" addiction, and simply use this type of garbage to justify my existence, but "Fook You".

According Gary Palmisano (groundskeeper?), the jocks refused to ride Race 14 on the turf.
Oddly enough though - they were good with riding Race 12 over the same course.

Rave 12 was a 8F race.....they could just worry about getting in position
Race 14 was a 5.5 sprint.....jocks worried about sprinting from the start....

I thought it was pretty obvious this was a jockey decision before that info was even relayed. What else could it have been?

Gotcha, thanks. I pay more attention to the horses than the people
My apologies to Gary
