Have a lot of friends who are into competitive cycling. This thing seems to "hang on" for a while, in an ebb-and-flow pattern.
This from non-political site, a cycling enthusiast site.
He started feeling crappy 1st week in March; coughing started around March 10th. By March 12th he had to start jumping thru the "are you at risk for Covid-19" hoops (guess they still won't or aren't testing people much?)......by March 14th he had fever, so finally managed to *wrangle* an actual Covid-19 test on March 16th.
Positive.
Being a competititive cyclist with killer good lung capacity, he was able to avoid hospital and fight this with vit c, mucinex and tylenol.
Strong lung capacity makes a huge difference. He went thru hell, but avoided the hospital.

But 1st week in March til March 16th, seems like a longish time, more like a flu that holds on for a while but also takes some time to develop.
Also they would not test him due to their "feeling" that he was not a Covid-19 candidate. Is it still like this, Feb, March, April are almost over, and are we still short on tests or what? I have not kept up with the testing availability thing but I am still hearing how people can't get tested even when asking
