Trying to focus on my high-odds picks , , , while accepting the higher probabilities of two of the favorites , .
I could key fewer of my favorite shots with a bigger spread of other contenders or nearly "all." But I had enough opinion about six horses with varying styles and values to match my opinion with this.
Way more spreading than usual and the place bets are particularly weak, but they dutch to roughly a 9/2 proposition with upside, as good as the favorite to win. And they match companion exotics. I couldn't live with myself if the actually placed with a stranger without them. Hey, it's The Kentucky Derby.

Only horses I like are 1-13-14-16 and 20

Also side superstitious wagers (not large bets but personal reason for picks)
