I don't.

Its being reported that they have voted to dissolve Parliament and call for new elections if a Government isn't formed by Wednesday which would be the deadline.

There were no opinions this is reported fact...

I think they will make a deal. Eliminating draft deferments for the ultra orthodox is extremely popular.

But the ultra-orthodox votes are a necessity for the coalition.

You think they cave?

Eventually. They have nowhere to run and more trouble than they’re worth. The general public is sick of their bull****.

Interesting. I wonder which religion's (if any) devout sect garners a modicum of respect these days. Or at the very least, doesn't get much shit talked about them by those who occupy the left-of-center side of the political aisle....let me think a minute. Oh yeah!

Not benign as most would think. I spent five years in their yeshiva system. They are a cult...plain and simple.

It appears they have failed to form a government. They are currently debating the Bill to call for new elections. Otherwise Rivlin can pick someone else make a attempt at formation.

Pretty brutal beat for the Ultra-orthodox...

Orthodox held firm. This could drag out for weeks.

This explains it better than I could:

Third reading of the bill to dissolve the Knesset means a new round of elections.

If Likud doesn’t improve its position there’s a good chance President Rivlin will ask Blue/White to form a government. He might do it regardless as Netanyahu could be indicted soon.
