Monmouth to Fox

https://www.monmouthpark.com/news-no...nsorship-deal/

Maybe of interest to some. I believe this covers TV on Fox and partnerships with NYRA Bets, but notably not availability of NYRA Bets to NJ residents. I believe ADW provider is subject to at least regulatory if not legislative approval. I did not see the topic covered in recent NJ Racing Commission recent agendas.

This is a great idea. I've been talking about MTH having a lot of untapped potential. A relationship between NYRA/FOX/America's Day at the Races and Saratoga Live could get the ball rolling and help everyone.

The next thing they have to do is give NJ bettors more options for putting in their bets, especially since NYRA Bets is going to be sponsoring the Haskell.

It’s content filler until the NJ bettor can rid itself of the 4njbets monopoly and use NYRAbets and until NYRA tracks are available for fixed odds wagering on site and on the Monmouth bets app.

I believe they did this because Churchill split after last year. I’ll be watching a lot more Monmouth now. DRF article talks about NYRA bets

It would be nice if they used Brad Thomas.

Happened to be in the car earlier this morning when "Down the Stretch" was on the satellite. Bill Finley and Dave Johnson were speaking with Brad Thomas about Monmouth's opening day and closed the interview asking for any best bets.

Brad called out Little Ni in the opener ($8.20) and suggested that the listeners watch his maiden breaking closing kick. Always like Brad's analysis on the shore circuit.

Brad is excellent, but he doesn’t parade around in foolish shirts and pick nothing but chalk, so he’s out.

In any case,I think Fox’s racing coverage is the best on TV. I do find it a little strange that it sometimes gets knocked off for bowling or softball.
