Randall....you CANNOT threaten people with ignore. This is the internet. It simply doesn't work. No one cares.
Look what the IGNORE BUTTON did for the Goof--he put some of the (arguably) top people on this forum---on ignore! It was SRU, EMD, THASK, and unbelievably....ME! I'm not revealing anything confidential--this was done in a public forum such as this one--matter of fact--IT WAS THIS ONE!
He enjoyed some popularity for a minute, then came his inevitable spiral into madness.
So take my advice, Randall....live and let live. Besides...if people make a grandiose proclamation- to put you on ignore, while first being as downright mean as possible, first--they can become joke material, and since they supposedly have you on ignore....they can't even respond
In conclusion...for my New Year's Resolution, I will try to be less childish and perhaps joke a little less.
But......I do apologize if I start to (or continue to) irritate some of you, I know I'm an acquired taste some never acquire. Happy New Year

I agree with this, I toyed with the ignore button in the past but ultimately I don't ignore anyone. I feel that i won't 'be me' if I'm ignoring people who are saying things that I might not want to hear. What's even worse than ignoring the haters is ignoring people just because you hate that you can't get them to conform to your opinions. Or, ignore them because you're an industry hack who puts the cold steely icy industry ahead of the backbone of the game, the player.

What's the criteria? Wondering if it's worth working for.

[=EMD4MEax I watched Ramon undress him race after race in NY for years. .
It wasnt even close. So, despite him being the tallest midget in the country right now, it's hard to love a guy who I KNOW is not that great.[/QUOTE]
Sounds kinky.

And here you thought I was on just on here to bust chops....
Actually, I am a figment of SRU's imagination. He created me and utilizes his 2nd IP address to make me real

2.Instead of putting $2 bets on my long shots and $100 bets on chalk, bet
$100 on my long shots and don't play chalk at all.

This. And keep good records on how you fare.
Thanks for the reminder.

Stop the incessant hedging! If I’m going to back a horse, play him. If I decide to beat a horse, toss him!
Have some stinkin balls.

1. Bet races before 6 am. Check results at 9 pm. Therefore I won't have the game suck any more of my life away.
2. Try and bet every 4 1/2 and 5 1/2 Furlong race in the US. Except those which violate #3.
3. Avoid sloppy tracks.
4. Never bet an off-Turf race.
5. Focus on 1 1/16 Turf races in the US.
