You are a brave..........?

My friend, you are a brave man.....I sure you know that a lot of variables can occur between now and the first Saturday in May.......that will stop any horse
from even running in the Derby..........but I will gave you kudos for trying.

Are you predicting he gets to the Derby or wins the Derby?

A nice pedigree story will follow him.
His Sire is Indian Charlie and he is out of galloping Gal.
His broodmare sire Victory Gallop ran in the 98 Derby , came in second and in the same race Indian Charlie was third. VG went on to beat Real Quiet in the Belmont next out.
Hopefully he'll get the stamina from the Dam's side and stay healthy.

Don't recall the Beyer but the @Derbycontenders feed posted it yesterday along with others and Bris numbers for several juvenile winners.

Thanks I need as many Kudos as I can accumulate. Heck the
horse won a big race == and Baffert can judge horse flesh and darnit --
U City ( St Louis burbs ) could use a shot in the arm. Only 125 or so days
till they deal the hand in Kentucky. Be interesting and fun to see how it
all plays out.
Oh I almost forgot -- Baffert and Zetcher won the most recent running
of the Santa Anita Handicap. But didnt run a step in the Derby.

As some folks say "" my bad "" Correction
The horse won the Santa Anita DERBY= not the Handicap.

It's a long way to the derby but it looks like it's going to be very interesting. I've been looking at a lot of pedigrees and, unlike last year, there are some speed horses that are bred to go long this year. Should be a lot of races with some real pace which makes for interesting handicapping.

I see quite a few with real potential this year.

I, personally, don't trust the stamina of the Indian Charlies. I'm thinking more like another Pletcher horse will come out of the fog soon. Nevertheless, good luck with your future bet wagers.
